In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As an SAP FI/CO Consultant within IBM Consulting you will:

Lead and support SAP FI/CO design and configuration across Plan-to-Report (P2R) process areas including General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Asset Accounting (AA) and Controlling (CO) .

Work with client finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into SAP-enabled solutions aligned with best practices.

Configure and optimize core FI/CO processes such as invoice processing payment runs credit management financial close and reporting.

Support integration with other SAP modules (MM SD HR and Concur) to enable seamless end-to-end financial processes.

Participate in system upgrades migrations and SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.

Prepare functional specifications perform unit and integration testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

Collaborate with technical (ABAP) and data teams to ensure accuracy of postings reconciliations and financial reporting outputs.

Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives process automation and financial analytics enablement.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting Information Systems or related field.

3–5 years of hands-on SAP FI/CO configuration and support experience.

Strong functional knowledge of Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable General Ledger and Financial Reporting .

Experience with Plan-to-Report (P2R) process design including integration points with other business process areas (e.g. Procure-to-Pay Order-to-Cash).

Demonstrated ability to gather and translate business requirements into effective SAP system solutions.

Excellent analytical communication and client-facing skills.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance or Central Finance .

Knowledge of SAP Concur and integration between Travel & Expense and Finance systems.

Familiarity with Financial Close Cockpit SAP Analytics Cloud or Group Reporting .

SAP Certification in FI CO or S/4HANA Finance.

Experience in consulting or large-scale ERP transformation projects.
