Job Summary 

We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA Developer to join our team at Nielsen. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP HANA-based solutions that support our business intelligence and data analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement SAP HANA applications and database objects
• Optimize existing SAP HANA applications for improved performance
• Create and maintain SAP HANA views, procedures, and functions
• Develop ETL processes for data loading and transformation in SAP HANA
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP HANA-related issues
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP HANA technologies and features

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in SAP HANA development
• Strong proficiency in SQL and SAP HANA SQL Script
• Experience with SAP HANA modeling (Attribute, Analytic, and Calculation Views)
• Familiarity with SAP HANA Studio and SAP Web IDE
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data modeling concepts
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• SAP HANA certification(Preferred)
• Experience with SAP BW on HANA or SAP S/4HANA(Preferred)
• Knowledge of SAP ABAP programming(Preferred)
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies(Preferred)
• Experience in the market research or data analytics industry(Preferred)
• Knowledge of SAP ERP systems, specifically S/4HANA and ECC(Preferred)
