SAP Integration Solution Architect

As a SAP Integration Solution Architect at EPAM, your critical role in crucial SAP implementation projects will include architecting, evaluating, and documenting strong and scalable integration solutions for both SAP and non-SAP systems. You will efficiently work with customers, offer technical guidance during pre-sales stages, and advocate for best practices and ongoing improvement throughout the project, all while cultivating solid customer relationships and expanding your knowledge in SAP and associated systems.

This is a remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Albania.

Responsibilities

• Act as a vital Solution Architect in large-scale SAP implementation projects
• Design, evaluate, and thoroughly document durable and scalable integration solutions connecting SAP and non-SAP systems and utilizing technologies which include SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, Kafka, and third-party integration services
• Assist in establishing and maintaining architecture, security, and data standards to ensure strict governance and compliance
• Participate as a technical advisor in pre-sales activities, sharing integration expertise
• Develop long-lasting relationships with our valued clients, facilitating solution demonstrations and capturing non-functional requirements (NFRs)
• Focus on non-functional requirements and quality attributes to guarantee the delivery of superb solutions
• Estimate effort related to integration development and technical architectural components
• Offer insights on SAP CIO Guides (On-premises / Cloud / Hybrid), Integration Solution Advisory Methodology (ISA-M), Application Extension Methodology, and RISE with SAP
• Promote best practices and encourage a culture of continual enhancement within the project
• Take advantage of opportunities to further your understanding and expertise in SAP systems and related areas

Requirements

• Understanding of distinct Integration Styles and Use-Case Patterns and related solutions from SAP Portfolio and other providers
• Background in Integration Solution Architecture in large SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects
• Expertise in developing system integration designs across extensive and diverse enterprise environments
• Proficiency in Software Architecture with a focus on system integration (EDA, SOA, messaging, EIP, etc.)
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing concepts
• Skills in working with various APIs, data formats, protocols, and adapters (SOAP/REST via HTTP/OData/AS2/SFTP/AMQP/MQTT, etc.)
• Broad knowledge of diverse integration tools and platforms and the capability to design solutions using assorted technologies
• Proficiency in crafting solutions with SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, API Management, Open Connectors, etc.)
• Competency with one or more programming languages such as ABAP, Java, Groovy, JavaScript (Node.js, TypeScript)
• High-level understanding of the capabilities, functionalities, and technologies of numerous SAP products
• Familiarity with SAP Integration Solution Advisory Methodology and agile delivery methodologies
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, paired with eagerness to effectively engage with customers

Nice to have

• Capability to identify solution discrepancies and devise strategies to resolve them
• Familiarity with one or more business domains
• Direct experience with one of the cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Certifications from SAP or other pertinent vendors
• Ability to tailor presentations of SAP features and innovations to accommodate prospective customer needs
