This Role…Â
As the Scheduling Specialist at ATD, you will report to our Associate Director, Learning Operations supporting the broader Education department. This role will support/be responsible for scheduling and coordinating a variety of activities associated with the logistical execution of our open enrollment, global and enterprise training courses that take place in a live online format, as well as in various cities around the globe. This role leads and builds relationships with key delivery partners to ensure a seamless and successful learning experience for our members and customers as they participate in ATD’s industry-leading certificate programs.Â
Specifically, the key initiatives and responsibilities of this role include:

Scheduling of facilitators for over 800 open-enrollment, global and enterprise deliveries annually.

Managing all changes to schedules in key learning systems and databases.

Scheduling of meeting planners for all face-to-face deliveries.

Managing and disseminating all pertinent participant communication related to course deliveries.

Liaising with ATD’s Customer Care team to ensure participant support and solutioning for our learners.

Ensuring accurate and timely information is reflected in all scheduling systems and repositories.

Communicating all instance-related scheduling information to key stakeholders, such as facilitators, producers, participants and internal team members.

Supporting the Learning Technology team on instance-related tasks, as needed.
About You…

3-5 years of relevant work experience
-
Highly attentive to details

Above-average organizational skills
-
Ability to craft high-quality written communications and documentation

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
-
Comfortable working in a variety of data management and learning systems
-
Genuinely curious with a desire to learn
-
Experience in scheduling and event management, particularly in a training, association, or professional education related environment, is a plus
-
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
