THE OPPORTUNITY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Scope of Responsibilities
A Scholastic Education Solutions Inside Sales Representative works in collaboration with OutsideĀ Account Executives in an assigned territory to maintain the current business and identify new business opportunities.
Specific Responsibilities
A Scholastic Education Inside Sales Representative will utilize phone, mail, email, TEAMS, Google Meets, and join.me presentations as part of a consultative sales effort. They will hold in-depth conversations about comprehensive literacy solutions, and how the extensive Scholastic Education product line can support their specific school/districtĀ initiatives. TheĀ main goal is to increase revenue in small and/or rural school accounts as well asĀ assist their Outside Account Executive counterparts with efforts supportingĀ larger customer accounts.
The ISR is required to meet established sales goals and customer contact rates.
The ISR is required to build andĀ maintain aĀ dependable sales pipeline at all timesĀ as well as creating sales quotes and proposals based on customer needs.
The ISR will travel approximately 20% of the timeĀ to provide customer support and attend Educational conferences and corporate sponsored training and sales meetings.Ā

Qualifications

Experience
A background in K-12 sales or education is preferred but is not mandatory.
Experience in Education and/or Inside Sales preferred but not mandatory
Proven track record of generating sales of 2 mm +Ā annually preferred but not mandatory
Skills Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong Computer and Digital Presentation skills- Excel, Google Suite, Outlook, Salesforce
Strong organizational and time management skills
