Qualifications: • Minimum High School Diploma or GED • Vaild NJ Driver's License • Knowledge of methods, procedures, materials, and equipment necessary for work involved in building maintenance • Five years of related experience • Valid New Jersey Black Seal License for boiler operation or willingness to obtain one • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively • Certification of good health signed by a licensed physician • Ability to lift 50 pounds • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures • Ability to use technology for work order maintenance systems • Willingness to attend professional development • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Knowledge of plant operation and maintenance, cleaning methods and procedures, heating and ventilation, proper handling of hazardous materials • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable • Must meet criminal background check for both federal and state as per the Department of Education under NJSA 18A:6-7.2 Working Conditions:12 month Full Time Position, Tenure Track, Medical, Prescription, Dental, Vision and Pensions Benefits. Position Start Date:October 1, 2025 Base Salary:As per negotiated FLEA contractual agreement. Salary ranges from $46,500 to $72,772.
