Schools - General Education Teacher

Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K8 school is seeking a General Education Teacher for a contracted teaching role focused on daily instruction and academic support. This position requires strong instructional planning and a commitment to student development. Qualifications: • Bachelors degree or higher • Experience with urban education settings preferred • Must hold updated state background checks and fingerprinting Job Duties: • Provide high-quality instruction in core content areas • Foster student engagement and classroom participation • Maintain classroom routines and discipline standards • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners • Monitor and report on student progress • Attend professional and staff development sessions Instructional materials and planning time are included in the school day.Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.
