Scientist

The Role: 

• This position will be part of our analytical service group.  

• The person will serve as a subject matter expert in TD-GCMS, VOC and outgassing analysis for AMH Analytical Lab.  

• The person will require to develop, optimize, and implement analytical methods for AMH analytical lab. 

In this role you will: 

• Serve as Sr. Scientist in analytical service group 

• Support laboratory operations to include, but not limited to, process routine samples, maintain TD-GCMS instrumentation uptime, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.  

• Preparing detail work instruction, execute test plans, data evaluation/interpretation, and results reporting.  

• Perform method development and validation/verification for new products, resins and/or R&D projects. 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

Education and Experience 

• Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in chemistry / Analytical Chemistry or equivalent filed. 

• Has three to five year working experience (BS)/ one to three years working experience (MS) in the analytical Laboratory environment.  

Additional Requirements 

• Considerable knowledge and complete acquaintance and understanding of TD-GCMS system operation.  

• Experience in working with other analysis instrumental such as IC, ICP-MS, FTIR, DSC.  

• Have the ability to design and create new analytical procedures and work instructions to enhance laboratory operations. 

• Strong communication skills. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet client and internal demands under tight timelines is a must.
