This position is part of the Global R&D located in Madison,WI and will be located on-site. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the Analytical Method Development (AMD) team and report to the Senior Scientist, AMD ensuring analytical methods can be successfully developed for the Protein Business Unit.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design, develop and optimize analytical methods for protein biologics.
• Author Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and technical documents, including project reports and data presentations.
• Perform a variety of biochemical and molecular biology assays for in-process sample testing and formulation studies.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• PhD with 1+ OR MS with 2+ OR BS with 5+ years of relevant experience in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline.
• Extensive experience with at least one and working knowledge of multiple techniques listed here: Capillary Electrophoresis, HPLC, plate-based enzyme activity assays, ELISA, qPCR/ddPCR.
• Experience in bioanalytical method development and/or validation.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Protein characterization studies using Mass Spectrometry. Knowledge of Capillary Electrophoresis and/or. HPLC, 3. plate-based enzyme activity assays.

The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $95,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
