The Scientist II SLS - Field Team for Cytiva is responsible for associating with customers on technical subjects and delivering results insert responsibilities that drive significant impact to the organization.

This position is part of the Scientific Laboratory Services (SLS) located in Melbourne and will be based on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide technical support for Cytiva filtration technologies (Bioprocess).

• To use this expertise to develop and support customer processes.

• Other aspects of support include, but are not limited to, technical training, technical presentations, troubleshooting of processes and field trials.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Master’s, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Science/Engineering (E.g. Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioprocess Technology etc.)

• Minimum 2-5 years work experience handling downstream/upstream applications processes, either within a lab or in the pharmaceutical industry.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Preferably from the current Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical industry.

• Research, R&D and/or manufacturing experience is desired.

• Experience under GLP and/or GMP will be plus.

• Experience with handling filtration/TFF/Depth technologies would be an advantage.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• 50% of travel within Australia and New Zealand to customer sites is expected .

• Overseas travel is expected if required

• Must have own car and valid driver's license.
