Position:

We are currently seeking an experienced full-time Screen Print Production Manager with previous experience in textile screen printing and has the knowledge of both manual and automatic presses, the ability to work with a screen print crew, trouble shoot effectively, hold quality as a priority and is detail oriented.

The Screen Print Production Manager will oversee front-line employees to ensure efficiency and quality in our Screen Print operations. This person provides leadership & accountability for the successful day-to-day production in our screen-printing department and will also be responsible for teaching and enforcing operational best practices. MUST HAVE TEXTILE SCREEN PRINTING EXPERIENCE.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to set up and operate Automatic and Manual Screen-Printing press for printing on the various garment and apparel styles with other team members.
  • Regularly inspects and evaluates products to ensure that quality standards are being met.
  • Must have experience with heat transfer and with team numbers on sports jerseys.
  • Knowledge of screen-printing on various materials such as cotton, polyester and mesh.
  • Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment or skill.
  • Trains front-line employees.
  • Organizes directs and oversees the schedules and work of front-line employees.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines and best practices including those related to hazardous waste, safety and health.
  • Implements procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Controls workflow scheduling
  • Examines job orders to determine quantities to be printed, stock specifications, colors or special printing instructions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Screen Printing is required with at least 2-years of supervisory experience.
  • Work authorization (Required)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Have thorough understanding of safety regulations and policies.
  • Have thorough understanding of production processes, quality control, cost management and other effective manufacturing and distribution techniques.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
