This role also includes responsibility for financial analysis and presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders. The Scrum Master will work closely with initiative owners, lab members, and business teams to ensure that project goals are met, while driving operational excellence.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through coaching and mentoring the team on Agile best practices and Scrum principles.
  • Resolve impediments and blockers that impact the team’s ability to achieve sprint goals, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Team Support & Collaboration:

  • Support product owners in refining and maintaining the product backlog, ensuring clear and actionable user stories
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between product, design, engineering, and other teams to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities.
  • Track team progress, ensure that the team is meeting its commitments, and help balance workloads across the team.
  • Promote open communication and cooperation among team members, encouraging a proactive and collaborative approach to solving challenges.

Financial Analysis:

  • Analyze financial data related to A/B testing results, project performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for ecommerce initiatives.

  • Collaborate with finance and business teams to align project financials with overall business goals.
  • Coach lab members and initiative owners on building business cases, and recurring reporting on initiative results

Reporting & Presentations:

  • Create clear and concise reports on project status, team performance, and financial outcomes to present to stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to executive leadership, providing updates on project progress, budget utilization, and financial insights.
  • Communicate complex technical and financial data in a way that is understandable for non-technical stakeholders.

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and mitigate risks, including resource constraints, financial overruns, and scope creep.
  • Promote a culture of learning and improvement by driving retrospectives and helping the team implement action items for future sprints.
  • Ensure that best practices are followed, promoting an environment of accountability, quality, and efficiency.

Critical Skills/Knowledge

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial and technical data to various stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience applying them in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, understand project economics, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive resolution of complex issues.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Airtable, Monday.com) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI).
  • Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting in a product or project management context.
  • Proven track record of facilitating Agile ceremonies and working with cross-functional teams.
