It takes the right team of people, working together on the right solutions for the customer. We are looking for a seasoned Scrum Master who will be a key driver to make this happen.

We are seeking an energetic Scrum Master who can interface with our customer Product Owner, execute against the product vision, and lead our Agile delivery team as a Scrum Master to deliver an excellent product that meets user needs. For this role, you will also help to understand what the users need and document those needs in the form of implementable and testable user stories. You will be working on a mission critical software product whose end goal is to authorize measures that help ensure that quality healthcare is being delivered by doctors. We are a team of high performing, dynamic technology pros that will be using a set of modern technologies (Angular, Node, AWS RDS, MongoDB, etc.), while applying human-centered design and DevOps approaches.

Our core work hours are 10am - 4pm Eastern Time with the option to start earlier or work later depending on your time zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to accurately report progress, risks, successes, and failures
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the product owner, scrum team, and other stakeholders such as product end users
  • Lead working session meetings to discuss scope, schedule and requirements with product owners
  • Help Product Owner with prioritization, risk management, and scope
  • Manage product quality, releases, and delivery
  • Conduct user research, draft user stories and meet with users to validate and enhance them
  • Breakdown the roadmap into epics and group user stories under them
  • Work with customers and developers to write user stories which are independent, negotiable, valuable, estimable, small and testable
  • Manage lightweight, living planning documents, like an Agile Product Roadmap
  • Conduct all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, daily Scrum Meetings, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives
  • Responsible for ensuring user stories include validation criteria which reasonably covers all areas necessary for complete testing of the new functionality

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience
  • 3+ years' experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Product Manager for a software development team.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
  • Candidate must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and work must be performed in the US
  • Must have lived in the US 3 full years out of the last 5 years

Professional Skills:

  • Hands-on experience leading multiple Scrum teams in a variety of contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc)
  • Track record of continued and recent education in Scrum, including training, conferences, user groups, self-study, etc. First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM) preferred
  • Knowledge of other Agile methodologies like Kanban, SAFe 6 preferred
  • Experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Continuous Delivery, Automated Testing
  • Expertise with JIRA, Confluence, and the Atlassian suite
  • Experience using JIRA's Agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of Human Centered Design approach for developing digital services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly skilled in team facilitation, conflict resolution, implementing best practices, team empowerment and creating a culture of transparency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry
  • Hands on Business Analyst Experience
  • Federal Government contracting work experience
  • Prior experience working remotely full-time

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$69,862.00 - $118,765.00
