Seasonal Warehouse Operator - Rexdale, ON

Background & Purpose of the Job

Help us "Bring Out the Best!" Unilever is now recruiting for a Seasonal Warehouse Operator at our Rexdale facility where we produce Hellmann's Mayonnaise.

The Seasonal Warehouse Operator position works during the factory's peak production season and can expect to work full-time hours from March to September 30th, 2025.

As a Warehouse Operator, you will perform tasks related to receipt, shipment, and storage of materials.

Who You Are & What You'll Do:

• Utilizes basic personal computer skills to maintain necessary files and documentation related to the shipment and receipt of materials. Completes applicable paperwork.
• Operates a hand truck, counterbalance forklift and walkie stacker to move raw materials and finished goods to and from warehousing areas and production floor, outbound or inbound transportation equipment. Stores raw materials and finished product in appropriate warehouse area, following FIFO inventory rotation and Allergen Storage Regulations.
• Supply materials to production Lines.
• Operate palletizers, Depalletizers, Wrapper and Trunkline.
• Responsible for following Unilever safety, health, and environment regulations.
• Under limited supervision, carries out various shipping and/or receiving activities such as;

Shipping :

• Loading trailers, generate paperwork for outbound loads, checking goods against shipping documents; understanding transportation methods and routes; verifying identification and quality of product and loading shipments.

Receiving:

• Unloading goods, checking against bills of lading, packing slips, COA.
• verifying rejects, damaged/misdirected goods and stores goods in appropriate locations.
• Reads and comprehends work instructions and performs daily safety inspection of
• forklift and other associated equipment.
• Occasionally may lift or move up to 50 pounds. Regularly standing and walking.
• Actively participates in improvement activities (One-Point-Lesson's, 5S).
• May work in areas where temperatures vary greatly.

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Min of 1 year experience driving a forklift, primarily a counterbalance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must read and comprehend written specifications in the English language
• Ability to get forklift certified
• "D" Licensed is an asset
