We are currently recruiting Security Consultant for a 11.9 months fixed term contract based in Melbourne.
The Network Security team is responsible for supporting the operation of security platforms such as Firewalls Load Balancers Proxy & Micro-segmentation. As a Network Security Tower Lead your responsibilities include –
•   Lead and mentor the network security engineering & operations team.
•   Act as the main point of accountability for tower performance escalations and stakeholder communication.
•   Coordinate with vendors and managed partners for operational reliability.
•   Mature and maintain SOPs runbooks emergency change and operational workflows.
•   Own change incident problem and request management for the tower.
•   Publish weekly/monthly governance reports and KPIs.
•   Drive process improvements to ensure sustainability
To ensure success in the role you will possess the following skills –
•   15+ years of experience in Network security and in tower or team leadership.
•   Deep expertise in firewall NAC segmentation and Secure Service Edge
•   Strong knowledge of TCP/IP routing/switching segmentation strategies and lateral movement risks.
•   Experience with change and incident platforms like: ServiceNow or Jira for ticket governance
•   Excellent communication documentation and governance reporting.
•   Ability to translate observations into remediation plans
