Security Consultant SAP (f/m/x)

Introduction
The protection of the SAP systems as mission-critical applications is becoming the first priority for the most relevant organizations all over the world. IBM Security as well considers than the security hardening of SAP systems is key in these uncertain times where hackers start seeing SAP as the main door to perform successful attacks.
As an SAP Security Senior Managing consultant you will be key advisor for IBM clients analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best SAP Security solutions for their needs.
You will apply your SAP Security skills to find the balance from the technical security and compliance perspectives securing the client’s SAP landscapes and systems and ensuring these will align with compliance requirements from main regulations and other stakeholder’s demands.

Your Role and Responsibilities

The main activities required from this role are the following:
• Preparation of technical SAP Security proposals
• Perform technical solutioning for SAP Security requirements
• Ensure quality of SAP Security services provided by the delivery team
• Lead implementations providing support to the delivery team when needed
• Become focal point / trusted advisor for IBM clients in SAP Security domain
• Development of methodologies / point of views about innovative technologies / services
• Play a significant role in long-term SAP Security strategy and toward operational excellence

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• General SAP Security knowledge
• Solid knowledge of and practical experience in: SAP Basis Security Configuration Architecture Authentication Roles Authorization Security Governance Vulnerability Management Threat Management and DevSecOps
• Practical experience with the following technologies/modules: SAP EXX S4 for Security GRC ETD SSO CVA BTP (PaaS) IGA Onapsis common crypto library (SNC hpps).
• High level of comprehension as well as a high degree of independence organisational Talent and sense of responsibility
• Fluent in German and English both written and spoken

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• SAP ETD (Enterprise Threat Detection)
• Creation of custom patterns
• Creation of custom ADP (Attack Detection Patterns) in SAP HANA
• Performing investigations using SAP Forensics Lab
• Experience configuring SAP Log sources in ABAP HANA and Java
• SAP syslog forwarding
• Integration with SIEM solutions (IBM QRadar Splunk or ArcSight)
