Security Consultant - SOX Experience

Your Role and Responsibilities
Practitioners assist clients in the implementation customizations configurations and production support of data security solutions such as Database Activity monitoring Data Leak Prevention Data Classification using tools such as Guardium Imperva Varonis Symantec etc.
They use in-depth Technical experience and adoption of methodology to effectively integrate data security into the client’s Cybersecurity landscape. Practitioners define and finetune policies for Data Security technologies and help to improve and maintain the security posture of the applications. Practitioners manage Data Security risk exposure and are expected to provide insights to reduce and mitigate the same.

Compliance/Audit Background (not required but preferred)
• SOX Controls (knowledge and background)

• Project Management skills/able to meet deadlines
• Able to follow checklist
• Able to summarize/detail facts
• Data analytics skills
• Takes initiative to ask questions / Not timid – ask questions where things don’t make sense
• Organized
• Strong communicator (verbal and written)
• Basic excel skills (vlookup etc.)
• Excited to learn and help folks understand the importance of Compliance

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Staff augmentation ideally someone that has had a compliance or audit type background. Someone to help the team manage and review self-testing answer questions. Looking at evidence (based on a checklist) and ensuring it is complete and accurate (can compare to prior quarter).
