Security Guard

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding security protocols. Duties • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. • Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities. • Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to monitor activities in designated areas. • Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and take appropriate action as necessary. • Provide assistance in conflict management situations while ensuring safety for all parties involved. • Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed. • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks or breaches in security. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications: • CPR certification and First Aid training are highly desirable. • Experience with surveillance systems (CCTV) is preferred. • Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus. • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. • Previous experience in loss prevention or security roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
