Security Guard

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while providing excellent customer service. Duties • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. • Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as needed. • Conduct regular inspections of premises, including checking doors, windows, and other entry points. • Utilize CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to monitor activities and ensure safety. • Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the facility. • Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary. • Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. • Collaborate with law enforcement when required to address security concerns or incidents. Skills • Possession of a valid security certificate is preferred. • Experience in military or law enforcement is advantageous. • Proficient in the use of CCTV systems and surveillance technologies. • Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle disputes or confrontations. • Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft or damage. • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks. • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, employees, and law enforcement personnel.
