Security Guard

OVERVIEW: We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills, remain calm under pressure, and act quickly and effectively in emergency situations. Key Responsibilities: • Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence • Authorize entrance of people and vehicles; verify identification when necessary • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances • Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious behavior or activity • Write detailed incident reports and daily activity logs • Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and medical emergencies • Enforce property rules, regulations, and procedures • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when required Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid security guard license (if required by local/state law) • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to stand or patrol for extended periods • Physically fit and able to respond quickly in emergencies Schedule: Full-time / Part-time / Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Work Environment: Indoor and/or outdoor settings depending on location. Exposure to various weather conditions may be required.
