About the Role: Effex Management Solutions is hiringSecurity Guardsfor one of our client locations in Houston, TX. We are looking for professional and vigilant individuals with experience in CCTV monitoring and facility patrol. As a Security Guard, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and protection of the site, employees, and property. • Location:Houston, TX 77064 • Schedule:2:00 PM–10:00 PM | 10:00 PM–6:00 AM • Job Type:Full-Time Key Responsibilities: • Monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious or unauthorized activity • Conduct routine patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies • Maintain detailed logs and incident reports • Enforce access control procedures and verify visitor credentials • Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when required • Ensure all surveillance and security equipment is functioning properly • Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid security license or certification (as required by local/state law) • Minimum 1 year of experience in security, including CCTV monitoring • Familiarity with surveillance systems and basic computer use • Excellent observational skills and clear communication • Ability to stay calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations • Physically able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods Preferred Skills: • CPR/First Aid certification • Experience in commercial, industrial, or retail security Benefits: • Competitive hourly pay • Health, dental, and vision insurance (for eligible employees) • Paid time off and holidays • Uniforms provided • Opportunities for advancement and training Apply Today to Start Your Career with Effex! #INDQEC Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
