As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a prominent educational location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the campus, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will be a trusted presence, responding to situations with professionalism and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an educational environment. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors. • Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain a secure environment. • Collaborate with campus staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and/or emergencies. • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related concerns encountered during patrols. What We're Looking For: • Availability across various days and shifts • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: • Must be at least 21 years of age. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
