Security Guard (F-80 required)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Guard. The ideal candidate will possess strong qualities such as excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of security protocols and procedures. The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our client’s premises, assets, and personnel. This position requires an F-80 and a valid NYS Security Guard License. Position Summary: This site is a commercial building site located in Manhattan. Now, we are seeking a polished Security Guard who can represent our brand. Main responsibilities include making sure the safety of all in the facility. Essential Job Responsibilities: • Responsible for security procedures and protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment. • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for any suspicious activity or security breaches. • Conduct investigations into security incidents, including reviewing footage from security cameras and interviewing witnesses. • Maintain accurate records of security-related incidents, reports, and actions taken. • Perform regular assessments of security equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly. • Monitor access control systems and ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed entry into restricted areas. • Respond promptly to alarms and other security alerts, taking appropriate action as necessary. • Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed to ensure a coordinated approach to security and safety. Minimum Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in security management or a related field preferred. • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a security-related field. • Strong knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and best practices. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in using security equipment and systems, including CCTV cameras and access control systems. • Physical fitness and the ability to perform duties that may require standing, walking, or patrolling for extended periods. • Valid security guard license required prior to assignment. Work Environment • Typical commercial environment. • Willing and able to work additional hours as needed to ensure responsibilities are met with prior authorization. Minimum Qualifications • Education: High School Diploma / GED • Experience: entry level position Mulligan Security Offers: • A competitive compensation package. • The rate for this role is $17.50 an hour.
