Security Guard - Healthcare Organization - San Diego

Headquartered in San Diego, Elite Security & Staffing provides security guards and event staff to facilities and events primarily in the California & Tennessee markets. Facilities under contract include stadiums, arenas, amphitheaters, convention centers, universities, office buildings, residential communities, retail establishments and hundreds of other facilities where people live, work and play. Elite Security and Staffing Company is a well-established national, premier security company with 25 plus years of service to our San Diego community. We are looking to hire experienced Security Officers to support a healthcare Organization throughout San Diego County and North San Diego County with security services of patrol & post facility work. RESPONSIBILITIES: SECURITY- Provide physical security to established locations in San Diego & North county locations. Standing post position. CUSTOMER SERVICE- Interact effectively with the public and staff. OBSERVE & REPORT– To ensure the safety & security of client's property & guests. REPORTING- Respond to emergencies & incidents according to policies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND CHARACTERISTICS: • Demonstrate independent thinking, quick learning, & timely decisions. • Must have a current Guard License. • Must have a clean driving record with CA Driver's license. • Taser - Must be able to take training & carry. • 3-5 years of security officer experience. • Must have driving experience. • Must be a professional reliable security officer. • Must have experience with electronic DAR filing & report writing. Shift times between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Saturday - Full time hours, Days could vary. Client is closed on Sundays. The hourly rate of pay is $25.00 hr. with opportunity for benefits. The uniforms provided are a shirt & jacket. Black pants & black shoes needed. Training & career development courses offered. Competitive pay & weekly payroll w/ direct deposit.
