Security Guard

Job Summary This post is for private event security for an event happening at Legacy Pointe Event Hall this Saturday the 16th from 4pm to 10pm. We need multiple commissioned and non commissioned guards, level 2 or 3 card necessary. You must have experience working events, with high preference given to those with military or crowd control experience. We need guys and gals, tall, built, able to effectively handle themselves and others in any situation. -Must have full security gear, body armor or vest to carry both your firearm and stun gun. Carrying alternative non lethal is fine as well. -Must be able to intimidate without drawing your firearm, we are looking for tall, built guys who are used to crowd control and have the right presence about them, no facemasks. -The event is 6hrs long this Saturday pay same day and if you perform well, we will hire you on for future events or as needed. -To apply respond to this application and/or email a headshot of yourself, guard card, license, and description of why you would be a good fit for this role [email protected]. Thanks -- We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Duties • Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems (CCTV) to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. • Enforce company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid (if certified) as necessary. • Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations. • Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify security risks or breaches. • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any relevant observations. • Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and assist in investigations related to loss prevention or security breaches. Requirements • Previous experience in a security role, military service, or law enforcement. • Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. • Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is advantageous. • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Must be physically fit to perform duties that may require standing for extended periods or responding quickly in emergencies. • Must have an operational reliable vehicle • Must have a smart phone capable of scanning NFC chips and utilizing location based services • Must be able to efficiently operate communication devices such as a pager/walkie to communicate with event staff.
