As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at upscale residential and hospitality locations. In this unarmed patrol position, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to residents, guests, and staff. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication skills will allow you to deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.10 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri10:00 AM - 06:00 PMSat10:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter, which may include both hotel and residential locations. • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. • Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas. • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies and/or evacuations as needed. • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the location. • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner. What We're Looking For: • Availability across various days and shifts • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
