As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also interact with individuals on site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting access control and badge procedures. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.10 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols. • Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed. • Document incidents and daily activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols. • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures. What We're Looking For: • Availability across various days and shifts • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. • A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred. • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
