Security Guard

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Responsibilities • Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV. • Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and security. • Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing assistance as needed. • Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks. • Manage conflicts with professionalism and de-escalate situations when necessary. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required. • Maintain accurate records of incidents, daily activities, and observations. • Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations as needed. • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activities. Requirements • Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. • Certification in conflict management is highly desirable. • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. • Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques. • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively. • Strong observational skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Must be physically fit to perform duties that may require standing for long periods or responding quickly in emergencies. • A military background is considered an asset but not mandatory.
