Security Officer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, with responsibilities that include monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and responding to incidents effectively. Responsibilities • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. • Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities. • Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary. • Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents. • Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations. • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or safety hazards. • Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities for record-keeping. Experience • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. • Familiarity with surveillance equipment and CCTV operation is a plus. • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
