Expected Responsibilities: • Patrol on foot or vehicle observing and maintaining the security protection including at client facilities, stations, bus stops, and at public areas to detect evidence of damage, misuse or theft; issue written warnings, make citizen’s arrests. • Prevent the public and unauthorized individuals from entering all restricted areas of Client facilities and right-of-ways. • Routinely interface with the riding public, providing general information relative to use of the system and other necessary information. • Prepare and submit security reports and provide assistance to investigators as required • Participate in Special Enforcement Unit activities to include routine fare inspection sweeps (Compass Cards and paper passes), passenger counts, onboard and in fare paid zones and report accordingly. • Respond effectively to all calls for assistance. • Must be sensitive to client’s culture and strive to maintain a positive client brand image. • Treat Client’s employees, invitee’s, and guest with the utmost courtesy and respect. • Provides access control, visitor management, customer service, and lobby support functions. Patrols interior/exterior area of the facilities to detect and report safety and security violations and enforce polices in accordance with program requirements. May be required to operate patrol vehicle or golf cart at select locations. Qualifications: • Must possess current Guard Card • May be required to perform emergency duties which require physical exertion such as: standing or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying up to 50lbs. and running.
