Licensed unarmed Security officers needed. We are looking for Security Officers to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Unarmed Security Detail for Migrant Shelters Position Title:Unarmed Security Officer Location:(North/West of Chicago) Organization:Non-for-profit organization Job Type:Full-time short term (6 months-1 year) Responsibilities: • Provide security and safety for residents, staff, and visitors within the migrant shelter premises. • Monitor access points, conduct regular patrols, and respond to incidents promptly. • Ensure compliance with shelter rules and regulations. • Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a secure environment. • Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Prior experience in security or related field preferred. • Strong communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Compassionate and respectful demeanor toward migrants. Requirements: • Must be at least 18 years old. • Pass a background check. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is a plus.
