Security Officer - Open Morning, Afternoon & Nights United Protective Services is seeking dependable and professionalSecurity Officersto join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and protection of our clients, staff, and visitors. We're looking for individuals who are alert, customer-service driven, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment. ??MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE – REQUIRED FOR GOLF CART PATROLS Key Responsibilities: • Patrol premises regularly to establish a strong security presence • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of vehicles and individuals • Lock and secure doors, windows, and exits after operational hours • Investigate suspicious behavior or persons on property • Respond to alarms and assess security situations appropriately • Assist staff, visitors, or tenants as needed • Accurately document incidents and daily activity reports What We’re Looking For: • Proven experience in security or a similar field • Knowledge of security protocols and public safety standards • Strong observational skills with attention to detail • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills • Familiarity with report writing and incident documentation • Physically capable of patrolling on foot andvia golf cart for extended periods • Dependable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team Schedule Requirements: This site requiresopen availabilityacross all days of the week, with shifts that may fall between5:00 AM and 5:00 AM(overnight). Specific coverage needs include: • Saturday – Friday:Open availability OR availability between 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM, with occasional overnight coverage up to 5:00 AM
