The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. Both hotels are anchored on the ground floor by our restaurant, Arriba Abajo, a 13,000 sq ft. indoor and outdoor oasis as well as 5th Street Diner + Royale Room, a street-side concept serving daily fare for locals, residents, and guests alike. Mixed-use project will also feature a residential tower – Sienna – and 10,000 square feet of retail space and a 7,000 sq. ft. state of the art fitness center and simulator room, appropriately named the “T” Box. Qualifications • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment. • Refined verbal and written communication skills • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays • Proficient in basic computer skills • Previous security experience preferred • Valid first-aid / CPR & AED certification • Valid Texas (Dept. of Public Safety – TOPS) Level 2 Security Officer certification (completion required prior to date of hire).
