Security Officers - Full Time - $22.15/hr HIRING IMMEDIATELY! Sunstates Security is currently hiringFull-TimeSecurity Officersin theNorth Lake, IL area. This position offers a pay rate of$22.15/hr paid weekly. Shift: Days and hours can vary depending on operational needs. • 1st shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM • 3rd shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Requirements: • 2 + years of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred. • 2 + years of experience in a customer service role. • Have reliable means of transportation and communication. • Excellent customer service skills. • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, and bend at the waist and knees for extended periods of time. • Must be fluent in computer basic skills. Fluency in Microsoft Suites is preferred. • Exceptional Report Writing Skills. • Willing to work in all weather conditions, holidays, and weekends. • Able to work independently. Responsibilities: • Conduct hourly foot patrols, using a tour system - looking for equipment damage, unsecured doors, water leaks, and any lights out, observing and reporting any suspicious activity. • Maintain accurate daily pass-down communication using Microsoft Teams. • Create and issue identification badges for visitors, customers, and clients. • Collaborate with and follow direction from both client representatives and Sunstates management to support organizational goals. • Maintain a daily audit of all equipment to include cameras, keys, phones, and other necessary tools required to complete Securities day-to-day. • Other duties assigned by management. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security officer must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
