Security Operations Analyst Job Category:Technology Requisition Number:SECUR025958 Posting Details Posted: August 12, 2025 Full-Time On-site Locations Troon Headquarters Scottsdale, AZ 85254, USA Job Details Description General Purpose: Troon Headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Security Operations Analyst to join our growing information technology team. In this role, you will assist in maintaining the security of our technology environment by supporting risk reduction, compliance activities, and security operations. Based at our corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ, you will operate security tools, respond to threats, and assist with compliance, while learning and growing in the field of cybersecurity. This position would consist of working onsite at our office headquarters. Compensation: $60-$65k BOE Essential Duties: • Support PCI DSS and other compliance activities by gathering evidence, completing documentation, and assisting with audit requests. • Monitor and operate security controls under the guidance of senior team members. • Track and document security findings, risks, and remediation activities. • Assist with security-related audits, certifications, and regulatory compliance activities. • Contribute to incident response by documenting findings and following established procedures for common threats. • Perform other security, risk, compliance, or technology support tasks as assigned. Education/Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent practical experience (internships, coursework, or relevant roles). • One to three years of IT or security related experience (help desk, system administration, compliance support, or similar roles.) Certificates/Licenses: • Security-related certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Security Fundamentals, or PCI Professional (PCIP) are a plus but not mandatory. Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences • Familiarity with Microsoft cloud offerings, desktop, and server operating systems. • Familiarity with security best practices from NIST, CIS plus PCI regulations. • Familiarity with practical application of security. • Exposure to scripting or automation tools, such as PowerShell or Python. • Analytical and holistic thinking to solve unique problems. • Clear communication skills and an ethical approach to decision making. • Strong willingness to learn and collaborate.
