Security Operations Senior Associate

Job Description
Seize the opportunity to enhance cybersecurity, utilizing your skills in threat analysis and incident response to protect vital data and systems.
As a Security Operations Senior Associate within the Cybersecurity & Tech Controls team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills in software engineering and development at the Low Code level, specifically with ServiceNow. You will be part of an Agile team, working to create a new CTC intake platform and improving the work performed by our exceptions processing team through automation. We value your strong background in software development, system configuration, and Low Code, as well as your deep understanding of service improvement in support of our firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities

• Partner with existing engineering colleagues to help deliver change to the current toolset, including ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with business analysts, process owners, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements aimed at improving existing infrastructures and tools.
• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions that saves time, cost and effort for our teams.
• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
• Leads communities of practice across SW Engineering within CTC to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies so that we can grow the capability and job family.
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications and integrations.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification in Cybersecurity operations and 3+ years applied experience
• Hands on experience in cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Proficiency in Servicenow tool, expertise in development and dashboard creation.
• Understanding in Automation, AI, Machine learning , ITIL concepts.
• Demonstrated knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security architecture design principles

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies.
• Cybersecurity controls industry knowledge (including Data Loss Prevention)
