As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, greeting guests with professionalism, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to manage visitor logs and respond to security-related incidents as needed. Your presence at the front desk helps to deter unwanted activity and supports a secure environment for everyone in the building. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeMon06:30 AM - 02:30 PMTue06:30 AM - 02:30 PMWed06:30 AM - 02:30 PMThur06:30 AM - 02:30 PMFri06:30 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do: • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies. • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by site procedures. • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communication with building management and/or emergency services. • Support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the front desk area. • Communicate professionally with building staff, tenants, and visitors to address inquiries and provide information as needed. What We're Looking For: • Availability across various days and shifts • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: • Alarm panel experience is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
