Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Endpoint Security Specialist to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing managing and enhancing endpoint security measures to safeguard our organization’s systems and data. If you have a strong background in endpoint security technologies a proactive approach to threat detection and mitigation and a commitment to maintaining a secure computing environment

Responsibilities

• Sound Technology Knowledge on Security Solutions across multiple OEMs in Endpoint Security Domain.
• Sound Understanding of Integrated Security Solutions across Network/DC/Cloud domains.
• Endpoint Security Strategy Development: Formulating and developing strategies for securing endpoint devices including computers mobile devices servers and IoT devices.
• Endpoint Security Assessments: Conducting thorough assessments of endpoint security posture identifying vulnerabilities and recommending solutions to mitigate risks.
• Endpoint Protection Implementation: Implementing and configuring endpoint security solutions such as antivirus software endpoint detection and response (EDR) firewalls encryption tools and intrusion prevention systems.
• Policy and Procedure Development: Creating and enforcing endpoint security policies guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Threat Detection and Response: Monitoring and analyzing endpoint security alerts and logs to detect potential threats promptly responding to security incidents and conducting investigations when necessary.
• Patch Management: Overseeing patch management processes to ensure endpoint devices are regularly updated with the latest security patches and updates to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Endpoint Security Training and Awareness: Providing training and raising awareness among employees about best practices for endpoint security emphasizing the importance of maintaining security measures.
• Incident Response and Recovery: Developing incident response plans for endpoint security breaches and coordinating recovery efforts to minimize the impact of security incidents.
• Risk Assessment and Prioritization: Making decisions on prioritizing and addressing identified risks and vulnerabilities in endpoint devices based on their severity and potential impact on the organization.
• Policy Implementation and Enforcement: Deciding on the implementation and enforcement of endpoint security policies ensuring compliance across the organization.
• Security Incident Response Actions: Making critical decisions during security incidents including containment measures forensic analysis and recovery strategies.
• Training and Awareness Initiatives: Deciding on the content and delivery methods for endpoint security training programs to educate client about security best practices.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 4-6 years of related experience in Customer facing Organization from the SI domain.
• Experience in planning implementing an Enterprise endpoint security infrastructure.
• Hands-on solutioning designing & implementing large scale & complex endpoint & security systems.
• Knowledge of virtual & physical network environments Firewalls Proxy IDS/IPS Load balancers NAC Authentication & Authorization VPN EndPoint Security Threat Modeling Vulnerability DLP etc.
• Good Knowledge and Experience in Cloud Networking and Security systems/products.
• Good understanding and Exposure on Security products from OEMs like Macafee Palo Alto Checkpoint Symantec Cisco etc .
• Hand on experience in AV Encryption HIPS EDR/XDR & DLP.
• Products and Technology Exposure: AV EDR EDR HIPS and Anti-APT.
• Ability to explain and elaborate on technical details. Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding and Knowledge in automation-Network and Security Automation AI enablement.
