Senior Accountant

Overview We have an exciting opportunity with a leader in an amazing commercial industry that is looking for an experiencedSenior Accountantto be the right hand to it's CEO! This ideal candidate will assist with the financial affairs of the firm. You will prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets and other reports. You will manage sales tax, insurance, and assist with payroll and other projects as needed. This is a great opportunity in a fantastic environment!! Responsibilities • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger accounting and cash management. • Treasury Management • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payables • Sales Tax • Insurance • Payroll/HR • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP. • Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure accuracy. • Develop financial forecasts and budgets to guide business decisions. • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights. • Utilize accounting software for efficient processing of transactions and reporting. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • 2-5 years' experience in a similar role • CPA is not required but a plus! • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. • Demonstrated experience in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
