Senior Accountant

- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various accounting functions and be proficient in financial analysis and reporting. We seek someone who enjoys working in a small business environment and working with team members in different departments. Duties: · Prepare financial reports, statements, and forecasts · Assist with budgeting and financial planning processes · Process payroll and payroll tax filings · Process Sales Taxes · Oversee and process accounts payable and accounts receivable functions · Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards · Perform general ledger reconciliations · Utilize technical accounting expertise for complex transactions · Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes Skills: The ideal candidate should possess the following skills: · Proficiency in payroll processing, W2, 941 filings · Proficiency in W2, 941 filings, Sales Taxes, Franchise Taxes · Strong account analysis capabilities · Experience in financial forecasting · Experience in cost accounting · Knowledge of governmental accounting principles · Understanding of financial concepts and reporting standards · Expertise in general ledger reconciliation · Familiarity with technical accounting issues · Ability to manage accounts payable functions effectively · Experience in general ledger accounting practices · Proficient in using NetSuite accounting software applications or similar This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
