The Opportunity

Reporting to the Associate Director, the Senior Accountant will be a key player in the month-end close as well as have an opportunity to grow within a dynamic finance organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute monthly departmental expense analyses to management explaining key variances
• Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet account analyses including reconciliations, rollforwards and variance analyses
• Maintain monthly analysis of all accrual accounts and prepare monthly accrual reports
• Compile financial information to support the preparation of 10-Ks, 10-Qs and earnings releases including preparing quarterly financial reporting packages
• Continuously evaluate monthly close processes with an eye toward improvement
• Assist with internal and external reviews and audits, providing supporting documentation and responding to queries as needed
• Ad hoc management reports as requested

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA or CPA candidate a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (Advanced, Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Conditional formulas)
• Oracle/Oracle Hyperion Financial Management and Blackline experience is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive, self-starter capable of working independently, following through on tasks in a timely manner
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000

The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of IAC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
