Senior Accountant

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This role will support our commercial real estate operations by managing all accounting functions, including accounts receivable and payable, general bookkeeping, payroll, and financial tracking related to loans, debt, current stabilized commercial assets and development projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate accounting and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. · Handle full-cycle accounting for multiple real estate entities and development projects · Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable with proper coding and tracking · Maintain general ledger, process journal entries, and complete monthly reconciliations · Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely payments and reporting · Track real estate loans, draw schedules, debt service, and financial compliance · Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal use and external partners · Support tax and audit processes by maintaining accurate and organized financial records · Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and project-level cash flow projections · Coordinate with lenders, partners, and property managers on financial matters · Manage and file sales tax, 1099s, and other required compliance documents Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Paid time off Experience: • Accounting: 5 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: • Houston, TX 77024 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Houston, TX 77024: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
