Senior Accountant

And we welcome all highly motivated individuals to become a part of our growing team. Summary We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with state and local tax regulations, and supporting inventory and operational accounting processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of stepping into other accounting functions when needed. Responsibilities • Prepare and file state and local sales/use tax returns and support tax audits as needed. • Reconcile inventory and cost of goods sold accounts monthly. • Assist with month-end close procedures including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting. • Support internal controls and ensure accurate documentation of accounting processes. • Provide cross-functional coverage and support for AR and AP functions when team members are out. • Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and other team members to improve accounting workflows and reporting. • Assist with audit preparation and coordination as needed.
