SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

There are no cons that I can think of.” Job Summary: This role is responsible for month-end close and general ledger accounting, including cost allocations, monthly revenue, fixed assets, debt, and derivatives. Responsibilities: • Manage fixed asset and WIP subledgers, including running and verifying depreciation • Set up, monitor, and account for reimbursable construction projects • Develop and manage the capital accrual process and review monthly capital reporting schedules • Track asset capitalization and coordinate with fixed asset accounting to ensure timely capitalization of completed projects • Review and process construction invoices, change orders, retainage, and progress billings • Maintain and reconcile right-of-way leases and land purchases monthly • Oversee monthly and annual close of the income statement and balance sheet • Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and perform initial GL review Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration • CPA or CPA eligible preferred • 3–5 years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or industry; construction or energy industry preferred • Strong background in fixed asset accounting • Experience with accounting and reporting for M&A and multi-entity companies #GAAP #PublicAccounting #Energy #Construction #Oil #RenewableEnergy #RapidGrowth #ATX #AustinJobs #Accounting #LI-MB1 #INSEP2025
