Job Description

A Moving Experience.

Primary Functions:

  • Assist in the company's external reporting process, prepare/compile and assess the disclosures included in Form 10-K, Form 10-Q and support the quarterly earnings release.
  • Prepare month-end/quarter-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules for assigned general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare quarterly stock compensation accounting and reporting.
  • Conduct technical accounting research on accounting and reporting issues, including stock compensation, goodwill and intangible asset impairment, going concern and equity and debt financing.
  • Assist in quarterly reviews and annual audit and prepare audit schedules, as necessary.
  • Proactively identify issues causing inefficiencies and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with treasury, tax, FP&A, investor relations and operational accounting teams to ensure a smooth reporting process.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of related experience, preferably a mix of public and private accounting
  • CPA License preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High level analytical abilities and communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Knowledge of Equity Edge Online reporting preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel including use of v-lookups and pivot tables.
  • Self-motivated, ability to manage deadlines.
  • Careful attention to detail and the ability to organize.
  • Flexibility to navigate a fluid and fast-paced environment.
