Job Title :Senior Accountant Reports To:Director of Finance and Accounting Position Summary LGMG North America is a North American distributor of aerial lift equipment for the construction industry. We are seeking a full-time experienced Senior Accountant who will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts and assisting in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Essential Functions β€’ Maintain and approve accounts payable and accounts receivable payments β€’ Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis β€’ Record and reconcile daily transactions in the general ledger β€’ Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, adjustments, and other transactions β€’ Record banking transactions and reconcile bank statements β€’ Provide on-going accounting guidance and feedback to project controllers β€’ Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data β€’ Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during audits β€’ Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement β€’ Maintain documentation of accounting processes and procedures β€’ Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the management and LGMG from time to time Supervisory ResponsibilityNot applicable. Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. TravelNot applicable.
