Overview of the Senior Accountant role: • Prepare, post, and review all required journal entries and adjustments, voucher payments and purchase orders for accuracy • Maintain and prepare financial reports and perform initial review and analysis of financial statements and variance analysis. • Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to subsidiary accounts • Review and pre-approve all bank statement reconciliations monthly • Assist with development of the Agency's Annual Cost Allocation Plan • Maintain compliance with GAAP • Ad hoc accounting projects Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant: • Accounting or Finance Degree • 3 + years of general accounting duties • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially SharePoint, Excel, Outlook • Ability to work with speed and accuracy • Strong attention to detail and organized • Great communication and follow-through#INJUL2025 #CBJUL2025 #senioraccountant #accountant #nonprofit
