You will play a pivotal role in shaping their new financial structure, supporting key projects, and ensuring the integrity of their accounting functions during a period of exciting change. Job Title:Senior Accountant (Contract-to-Hire) Location:Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid-3 days in office with flexibility on days) Pay:$38.00 - $43.00 per hour - Based on Experience + optional benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, etc.) Start Date:Immediate location: Phoenix, Arizona job type: Contract salary: $38 - 43 per hour work hours: 8 to 5 education: Bachelor's degree experience: 0 Years responsibilities: • Perform and manage key reconciliations, including monthly bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and the Accounts Receivable (AR) aging report. • Manage the accounting for fixed assets, including those resulting from new capital projects, including tracking depreciation and maintaining schedules. • Assist with the review of Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Help manage the company's fixed asset ledger, tracking depreciation and accounting for significant new capital expenditure investments. • Play an integral part in the finance team's transition from QuickBooks to Sage ERP, planned for Q4. qualifications: • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with a strong grasp of general ledger functions and the month-end close process. • Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks. • Experience with Sage ERP is highly beneficial and strongly preferred. • Excellent problem-solving skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. • Ability to work a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in our client's Phoenix office, with some flexibility.
