Atrium is partnering with a dynamic and growing organization specializing in large-scale construction and development projects, as well as corporate operations that support their expanding portfolio. Their Finance team plays a critical role in driving accuracy, compliance, and insight across all aspects of project and corporate accounting. They foster a culture of growth, innovation, and professional development. They are currently looking to add aSenior Accountantto their team. Salary/Hourly Rate: $95k - $110k Position Overview: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting both project and corporate accounting functions, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and reporting. This role will involve working on multiple projects simultaneously while handling corporate-level transactions, including reconciliations, intercompany activity, and month-end reporting. The ideal candidate will be highly tech-savvy, with advanced experience in MS Excel, reporting tools, and building dashboards in Power BI. This is a growth-oriented role with significant opportunities for advancement. Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant: • Perform reconciliations, including general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations. • Manage and process intercompany transactions and ensure accuracy of related entries. • Support accounts payable (A/P) processing and reporting. • Assist with month-end close, reporting, and preparation of financial statements. • Work across multiple projects, providing project accounting support and analysis. • Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI to support business decision-making. • Develop advanced financial models, reporting templates, and analytics tools in Excel. • Collaborate with project managers and corporate leadership to provide financial insights. • Contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency and transparency.Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant: • 3 - 5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting. • Strong technical accounting skills, including reconciliations and month-end close. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas). • Experience with reporting tools and dashboard creation (Power BI required). • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant: • Experience in construction project accounting. • Knowledge of intercompany accounting and project-based financial management. • Prior experience improving reporting systems or automating processes.Education Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. • CPA or working towards a CPA certification is a plus.Benefits: • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage. • 401(k) with employer contribution. • Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave. • Professional development and training opportunities. • Room for growth and advancement within the company. • Collaborative and supportive team culture.By applying to this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, and/or emails from Atrium and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
