LHH Recruitment Solutionsis seeking a Corporate Accountant for our client located in Philadelphia, PA.Our client is a global alternative investment Asset Manager and this role is a great opportunity to join a high performing accounting team.
About the job
The Senior Accountant on the Corporate Accounting team will assist with accounting and administrative responsibilities related to Franklin Square Holdings, LP, Subsidiaries and Affiliates.
The successful candidate is expected to:

Review and approve coding of all invoices and travel & expense reimbursements and verify that they are coded to the proper general ledger accounts.
β’
Assist with the month end close process including accounting for prepaid expenses and accruals.
β’
Review and approve coding of all invoices and travel & expense reimbursements inputted by other accountants.
β’
Post cash transactions to the general ledger.
β’
Reconcile bank statements and various balance sheet accounts.
β’
Allocate expenses across various legal entities.
β’
Assist with annual audits; compile data pertaining to various audit requests.
β’
Assist with annual tax return preparation, working directly with external tax firms.
β’
Other accounting tasks and special projects, as needed.
Qualifications:
β’
Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration with Accounting or Finance major preferred.
β’
3-5 years of general accounting experience.
β’
Microsoft Office skills, specifically advanced Excel skills, required.
β’
Proficiency in Great Plains, Adobe, or similar products.
β’
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and work within tight timeframes.
β’
Familiarity with GAAP, partnerships and financial reporting preferred.
β’
Experience managing sensitive information.

Pay Details:$38.00 to $50.00 per hour
